Moina Sajjad is a mixed media artist and Calligrapher, who’s cultural background and passion for calligraphy influence her artistic style. She incorporates elements of Islamic architecture and calligraphy into her artwork, adding a unique touch to her creations, by combining traditional and modern art concepts. She constantly explores different mediums and techniques, always eager to experiment and push the boundaries of her creativity. She is deeply moved by the intricate details of the natural world and believes that the creations of God Almighty , is the driving force behind her artistic expression. Receiving the prestigious IJAZAH (certification )in Arabic Calligraphy in the Chinese tradition, from the master calligrapher Haji Noor Deen Mi Guangjiang , has been a transformative and humbling experience, marking a significant milestone in her artistic journey. This esteemed recognition has not only deepened her appreciation for the ancient art of Arabic Calligraphy but has also instilled in her a profound sense of responsibility to carry forward this sacred tradition. Under the tutelage of Haji Noor Deen, Moina had the privilege of studying the rich traditions and techniques of calligraphy, delving into the spiritual and aesthetic aspects that underpin this ancient script. The ijazah represents a lineage that stretches back through centuries, It is an embodiment of the knowledge, wisdom, and artistic legacy that has been passed down from generation to generation, and Moina is honored to be entrusted with carrying this torch forward into the future.
